We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Apprentice to join our team as a Cyber Defense Incident Responder. This comprehensive 2-year apprenticeship program will provide hands-on experience in developing and implementing information security procedures, responding to cyber threats, and protecting digital infrastructure. The apprentice will work directly with our cybersecurity team while gaining practical skills in security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis.
Apprentice Responsibilities
- Monitor network security and respond to incidents
- Assist with security software installation and maintenance
- Support vulnerability assessments and testing activities
- Help document security procedures and compliance requirements
- Provide technical support to users on security and IT related issues
- Learn and apply cybersecurity tools and best practices
Program Structure
Our competency-based program combines 1,645-2,060 hours of on-the-job learning with 161 hours of related instruction across six progressive phases:
Phase 1: Help Desk Fundamentals (Months 1-3)
Build core technical support skills including basic troubleshooting, system administration, and network support.
Phase 2: Security Foundations through Help Desk (Months 4-6)
Apply security perspectives to help desk work, managing endpoint security and implementing security software.
Phase 3: Incident Detection via Help Desk (Months 7-9)
Bridge help desk support and security operations through incident correlation and log analysis.
Phase 4: Incident Response Integration (Months 10-12)
Develop core incident response capabilities with focus on triage and security controls assessment.
Phase 5: Advanced Incident Response (Months 13-14)
Specialize in forensic investigation, vulnerability assessment, and incident coordination.
Phase 6: Advanced Security Implementation (Months 15-16)
Implement comprehensive security measures and develop technical leadership skills.

Apprentice Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to commit to a 2-year apprenticeship program

Senior Information Technology Specialist
Livonia, Michigan
We are currently seeking talented Information Technical Support professionals for a full-time position as an IT Support Technician - Tier 3. The Tier 3 Technician is responsible for advanced technical support of desktop, Server and network environments along with advanced capabilities in Cybersecurity tactics such as Indicators of Compromise, Email Security and SIEM logging.IT Support Technicians must be diligent self-starters, competent with computers and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects at the same time. Ideal candidates have excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and interact with users who have little computer knowledge. Potential candidates must be able to maintain a professional attitude and appearance and confidently engage with customers over the phone and in person.This is a full-time in-office position located in Livonia, Michigan 48150 or, additionally, the position is available to remote workers based on qualifications, location, and remote work environment. Remote workers must adhere to no-moonlighting policy and may be required to be in-office on any given day.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Advanced Windows Technical Support relating to common technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, EntraID and Intune), Workstation and Server Operating Systems
- Support Backup Solutions and Processes
- Advanced Network Support - Layer 3 and above
- Enterprise Firewall experience, including IPSEC, NAT, Policies, Rules and general configuration.
- Applications support, including installing, configuring, migrating, and troubleshooting applications and third-party line of business applications
- Malware, spam, and antivirus support on desktops and remediation of Cybersecurity Incidents.
- Strong communication skills when interacting with external clients. Keeping them informed of tickets before, during, and after service requests
- Familiarity with tools such as EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), MDR (Managed Detection and Response), SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and vulnerability scanners.
- Apply problem-solving skills effectively even in high-pressure situations.
- Prioritize and address security incidents promptly.
- Present security findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail when analyzing security data.

Inside Sales Appointment Setter
Livonia, Michigan
We’re hiring an Inside Sales Appointment Setter to help us bring our lead generation in-house. You’ll be calling local business decision-makers, introducing STACK Cybersecurity, qualifying prospects, and setting first-time appointments for our Outside Sales Rep.
Setter Responsibilities
- Execute daily outbound calling strategy to target verticals
- Qualify leads
- Schedule and confirm appointments for OSRs
- Document all calls, notes, and outcomes
- Achieve or exceed monthly KPIs for calls, connects, and FTAs
- Participate in weekly training and call review sessions
- Collaborate with the OSR for feedback and continual improvement
- Follow up with warm leads and nurture them to appointment
- Performance Metrics:
- 80–100 calls/day
- 10–15 connects/day
- 2–3 FTAs/week
- <20% no-show rate
Setter Qualifications
- 1+ year in an outbound calling or inside sales role (B2B preferred)
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Comfortable handling objections and keeping a positive tone
- Highly organized and disciplined in following a process
- Tech-savvy enough to learn CRM, dialer, and prospecting tools quickly
